Ariel is a Principal at Concept Ventures. He has been closely involved in investing and supporting founders since joining the firm in 2020, particularly around the early phases of ideating and finding PMF. He is of British/Israeli origin and has spent a lot of time in both regions. Raised in London, he attained his degree from the University of Bristol. Early in his career he worked at a marketplace startup in the gig economy space as well as a family office focused on alternatives investing across the UK and MENA region.
At Concept, Ariel works closely with founders from the earliest stages, leading investments and supporting across the critical areas of building a company, whether that’s hiring first key team members, shaping product roadmaps, setting up processes and OKRs, or navigating fundraising. He spends significant time with founders on go-to-market and product strategies, while also helping to unlock access to customers, talent pools, and next-round investors through Concept’s network.
Ariel has a particular focus on B2B, both SMB and enterprise, as well as deep tech, where he has backed and partnered with founders tackling ambitious problems. Internally, he contributes across the investment process and portfolio support, while also expanding and strengthening Concept’s community to ensure founders benefit from the collective experience and reach of the fund.
Outside of Concept, Ariel is massive foodie and loves to explore new cultures, an avid football and tennis fan (as well as player) and has a growing addiction to 5 hour plus board games with his friends.
