Jeff Chowdhry

Jeff is a General Partner of Concept Ventures, having joined the firm in 2018. He began his investment career over 30 years ago and had a successful ‘first’ career in institutional asset managing and growing investment teams and being responsible for assets of over $5bn in emerging market equities. At the other end of the investment spectrum, he has been an active angel investor for many years, bringing his extensive knowledge and expertise to rapidly growing emerging companies as they embark on their own investment journey.

Given Jeff's background in financial services and knowledge of several verticals in this space, such as banking, insurance, asset management, and property, he leads Concept’s investments in this area as well as the internal team that asseses all follow-on investment decisions. He works closely with several Institutional investors, Family Offices, and LPs. Internally, he leads the HR, Risk, Compliance, and Finance functions. In his spare time, Jeff loves golf and is an avid soccer fan. He is also passionate about giving back to less fortunate members of our society, leading and contributing to several charitable initiatives at home and abroad. Concept’s venture pledge (where a proportion of our carry is given back to deserving causes) is particularly close to his heart.
